Hi, I am Katy Laurence the founder of Laurence Moore Teaching. I created the company in August 2019. In November 2018 I gave birth to my daughter Sofia (and now in addition I have a boy, Roman born January 2021) , at the time when I had Sofia I was working at a Primary School in Islington. During my maternity I decided the daily commute was too far to continue working at the school. After a few conversations with colleagues and friends I decided setting up a company to offer high quality supply teaching to local schools would be my new focus.

Many people agreed my experience in both Secondary and Primary education would work well with the company.

My Secondary experience was at an all girls school in Islington where I was Head of PE for many years. I have had great experiences from both my previous schools, embedding secure curriculum's in both.

My time in Primary I had time to teach many subjects and I led on PHSE, SMSC, Upper Phase, Trips and Health and Safety. I was successful in achieving the AfPE Quality Mark, Bronze Healthy Schools, Schools Games Gold and TFL stars Gold.

I am able to offer supply teaching in PE at Secondary level, PE, PPA and general teaching cover at Primary (Nursery-Year 6). If you would like to focus on improving your schools PE curriculum or other aspects I am able to support with this.
